Use random-access in vivo with Ultrafast Local Volume Excitation (ULoVE)

Sample movement in vivo can compromise the stability of random access recordings. To suppress these movement artefacts we expand the focal volume in 3D through an optimal combination of holographic patterning and fast scanning, to create ultrafast local volume excitation (ULoVE). Our Acousto-optic light steering technology combines the best of three worlds: Random Access, Fast local 3D scanning and holographic patterning.
